Première Vision Paris is exceeding the best expectations

After a more hazy edition in July last year, Première Vision Paris once again shined for the strong From Portugal delegation that will be present until this Thursday in yet another edition of the renowned Parisian event. A tour of some of the companies present allows us to conclude that the environment is busy regarding contacts and business, which creates good perspectives for the event outcome.

A heavyweight in the Portuguese textile industry, Somelos is excited to attend an “old-fashioned” edition of PV Paris: “lots of movement, full corridors, quality buyers and a very positive environment”, describes Gabriela Melo, Creative Director & Company Design.

Without wanting to choose a star product because “everything is highlighted” at Somelos, Gabriela Melo highlights the strong turnout at the stand experienced on the first day of the fair, especially from European buyers. “People are very excited. We hope it stays that way until Thursday”, concludes.

TMG Textiles/GPSA has the same feeling. After a highly successful edition of Milano Unica, Hélder Rosendo is surprised by the quality of PV Paris. “I confess I feared buyers would not come to Paris in such large numbers, but I was wrong. This edition is much better than the previous”, states, highlighting the commitment to a more timeless collection.

With a more generic perception, as it is often a starting point for discovering the Portuguese exhibitors present at the fair, the iTechStyle Green Circle has always been “full house”. “It’s been wonderful! The fact that we have some coordinates already with digital passports is attracting a lot of attention”, says Cristina Castro, public relations at CITEVE. “There is a very positive general feeling, and we also feel a lot of interest in manufacturing in Portugal, which is excellent for manufacturing exhibitors”, concludes with satisfaction.

The companies 6Dias Têxteis Internacionais, A. Sampaio & Filhos Texteis Sa, Acatel, Albano Morgado SA, Anbievolution, Anjos e Lourenço, Bordados Oliveira, Brito Knitting, Calvi, Carmafil, Casa da Malha, CFM-Conscious Fabric Makers, Crispim Abreu, Familitex, Filasa / Kroma, Fitecom, Happyprobability, J Caetano, Joaps – Malhas, Lemar, Lima & Companhia, LRT, Lunartex, Lurdes Sampaio, Magma Textil, Matias & Araújo SA, Modelmalhas, NGS Malhas, Positive Materials, Sidónios Knitwear, Spring, Texser | Textil De Serzedelo, TMG Textiles | GPSA, TMR, Trimalhas, Troficolor Denim Makers and Wonder Raw are the companies in the From Portugal delegation. They are joined by the also Portuguese Adalberto Textile Solutions, Confetil, Inovafil, Paulo de Oliveira, Penteadora, Polopiqué, Riopele, Somelos Tecidos, Tearfil, Vilarinho, Vilartex and the Fabric Trends forums From Portugal and the iTechStyle Green Circle participating in another edition of Premiére Vision (PV) Paris until Thursday in Paris.

The participation of Portuguese SMEs in PV Paris is an initiative of Selectiva Moda and ATP – Associação Têxtil e vestuário de Portugal, which aims to promote the internationalization of Portuguese companies in the textile sector. This fair is in the From Portugal project, within the scope of the application presented to the Portugal 2030 joint internationalization projects.
