POLOPIQUÉ ADAPTS SUSTAINABLE NATURAL DYEING

Natural dyeing is an ancient tradition that Polopiqué adapted “to the present day, in which we increasingly need sustainable alternatives for the textile industry”. With evidence already given to the market at Première Vision Paris – Spring Summer 24 edition, where the solution aroused “great interest on the part of visitors to our stand”.

Alongside the search for increasingly sustainable and equally efficient solutions, “this natural dyeing has excellent chemical and thermal resistance, stability and also, in general, less toxicity for humans and the environment”, says the company in an official statement. “These pigments impart color through simple physical dispersion.”

Pigmentation is done naturally, without additions or transformations, and with no harmful substances to the environment since they are natural inorganic pigments – a mixture of natural salts and oxides.

As main features to add to sustainability, the system allows the development of fastness to light, washing, and friction, and it eliminates the need to use any solvent.
