More than a hundred companies decided not to postpone the registration for MODTISSIMO 60+1, scheduled for the 15th and 16th of February at Exponor – which is commendable in all respects, given that space is limited. “We are at cruising speed, and we expect to close registrations with maximum capacity still during December”, says Manuel Serrão, CEO of Associação Selectiva Moda, responsible for organizing the textile salon.
In addition to the usual exhibitors, Manuel Serrão records the presence of new faces at the event: “more than ten”, which attests well to the importance of the fair in the panorama of the national textile sector. Working towards a new record, MODTISSIMO 60+1 has as its theme in this edition the ‘Union’, as an engine to continue on the path of joint success of the national textile industry.
Registration is still ongoing (here). “We are making a commercial effort to reach the maximum number of registrations even before Christmas”, reminds Manuel Serrão, emphasizing the urgency of interested parties to fill in quickly.
The division by sectors is the usual: fabrics and accessories, clothing for men, women, and children, and even services. As for the type of stand, companies can opt for an equipped or free one.
In September, at MODTISSIMO 60, 4,854 Portuguese and 485 international buyers passed through the Exponor corridors. Record numbers that translated into the flow of orders from companies. The exhibition area was also larger: 9,500m2, which hosted 240 companies and 350 collections.
