THE GREEN WAY FROM PORTUGAL: SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION AT PV PARIS

Première Vision was the stage chosen for the presentation of the fourth publication of the Sustainable Fashion From Portugal project. Edited by ATP, it is “an open window to recycling, dyeing, finishing, and printing processes with a smaller ecological footprint used by Portuguese companies”.

Following the thematic magazines The Green Wave From Portugal, The Green Materials From Portugal, and The Green Book Sustainable Fashion From Portugal, ATP launches The Green Way From Portugal. The magazine attests to “the efforts to save water and energy resources, to the growing importance of traceability and digitization in this green goal and the unavoidable role of decarbonization in this operation to reverse the harmful effects of ITV on the planet”, according to a statement from its leaders.

“The purpose of the publication is to make known the numerous initiatives and projects that Portuguese companies have been implementing in terms of sustainability and circularity in areas as diverse as water or energy, in dyeing, printing or finishing processes, among others, as well as some initiatives to improve the traceability of products throughout the different processes or to promote recycling and reuse and waste reduction”, contextualizes Mário Jorge Machado, president of ATP.
