Vetrine project (Erasmus+) holds first face-to-face meeting in Portugal

At the end of April, the consortium of the Vetrine (Erasmus +) project, created with the aim of training young people in sustainability and making the textile and clothing sector more attractive to younger generations, met at CITEVE´s premises in Vila Nova de Famalicão. ATP – Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal joined the meeting to plan the coming activities.

‘The meetings focused mainly on the progress made in the work packages that are active in this first phase: the Vetrine study, capacity building programme and sustainability dissemination,’ the organisation shares on the project’s website.

‘We’ve noticed that VET students asked for training based on new specialized skills related to sustainability,’ the website adds. The project will propose updated curricula, where each country involved will contribute with learning material, which will culminate in practical training in local SMEs.

In addition to ATP and CITEVE, the educational organisation Eurotraining, Kaunas University of Technology, Chimar, Nevrokopska Profesionalna Gimnaziya Dimitar Talev, Pirin-Tex, AEG Professional Innovation School, Confederación de la Industria Textil – Texfor, CEDECS-TCBL SAS, CENTEXBEL and NOVEL Group are also part of the project.
