Portuguese companies highlighted in the PV Sports selection

Première Vision’s selection for autumn-winter 2022-23 in the ‘Sports’ category is already known, and the made in Portugal is strongly highlighted: Lemar, Familitex, LMA, A. Sampaio & Filhos, Tintex and RDD are the Portuguese companies that saw their fabrics chosen by the organization of Premiére Vision as sports trends, with a total of 19 options.

The company A. Sampaio & Filhos is the one with most samples selected by PV. It is represented in the subcategories ‘Warming’, ‘Eco Composition’, ‘Democratic Fitness’ and ‘Knit or Not’, with a total of six fabrics dictating the AW 22-23 trends. ‘Warming’ highlights wool fabrics, ‘Eco Composition’ the sustainably-based fabrics, and ‘Knit or Not’ is focused on knits that work as a second skin due to its elasticity.

Familitex follows, with five of its samples chosen for the subcategories ‘Warming’, ‘Rounded Relief’, ‘Eco Compositions and ‘Democratic Fitness’. The colours range from ecru, blue and classic black, with different textures. Lemar stands out with its camouflage pattern in shades of blue and brown, and integrates the ‘Unleashed Graphics’ subcategory, with two fabrics that PV presents as hyper-personalized camouflage.

Both with underlined sustainable concerns, RDD and Tintex each saw two of their fabrics selected for the ‘Eco Compositions’ subcategory. Still related to circularity, LMA saw one of its fabrics selected for the ‘Democratic Fitness’ subcategory, a selection that highlights biodegradable materials, with a soft touch and highly breathability.
