PORTUGAL ON THE ROUTE OF ALTER MADE, MANGO’S NEW BRAND

The Spanish brand Mango is preparing to launch a new women’s brand, Alter Made, and the Portuguese textile industry is part of the set of partners that the company wants working on this project. Alter Made is designed for more conscious consumers who are looking for long-lasting and timeless pieces – and Portugal is among the countries selected to collaborate with the brand in its cotton items.

Alter Made wants to make a difference by producing locally and shorten supply chains, located between Europe and Turkey, and by having certified suppliers. Italy is also on the list of suppliers for the cashmere models, made by experienced artisans. All products will be traceable so that customers can have more details about what they buy.

The other novelty is that the brand will be sold exclusively through the online channel, and to avoid stocks, production will be very limited: only 120 pieces will be available in the first collection.
