LONDON TEXTILE FAIR HIGHLIGHTS PORTUGUESE COMPANIES

The London Textile Fair organization has been presenting some confirmed exhibitors for the next edition of the fair, scheduled for the 10th and 11th of January 2023, at the Business Design Center. Paulo de Oliveira, Bloomati by Carvema, 6dias Têxteis, and, more recently, Magma Têxtil were the Portuguese companies mentioned.

On its social networks, the London Textile Fair has been presenting the offer for the spring-summer 2024 season, with a relevant focus on sustainability. In the case of Paulo de Oliveira, the Oeko-tex and GRS certifications stand out, which will reduce its carbon footprint by more than 50%.

Bloomati by Carvema presents a collection of organic, recycled, and cellulose fibers, such as bamboo, viscose, and lyocell. Moreover, water repellency, insect repellency, and intelligent thermoregulation are some finishes presented.

As for 6Dias, the focus is on the ability to customize according to customers’ needs. The offer ranges from 100% compositions to blends, from cotton, and polyester, to Tencel, denim, and linen. Also made to measure for each order are the finishes and dyeing, highlighting the description.

Finally, Magma Têxtil reinforces the circular vein of ‘made in Portugal’, with a collection that “uses what is old and transforms it into something new”, a reply to the growing concern with sustainability.
