Sustainability was the star at Portugal Fashion

In an edition where sustainability was the star, 33 fashion shows by 46 creators filled Aldândega do Porto with the Autumn / Winter 19 trends of the most talented Portuguese designers. More and more each day a beacon and avant-garde Portuguese fashion, the event was extended to the renovated room on the east wing, where half of the fashion shows took place.

After a great first day, which started with Bloom’s young creators and finished with Júlio Torcato, Hugo Costa and Maria Gambina’s boldness, Friday was the day for Inês Tocato, Sara Maia, Estelita Mendonça, Sophia Kah and Katty Xiomara take the runway. The evening continued with Pé de Chumbo, TM TeresaMartins, Diogo Miranda, Luís Buchinho and Miguel Vieira.

Nuno Baltazar, Meam and Susana Bettencourt kicked off the third day, followed by a segment dedicated to shoes and bags. The day then continued with Concreto, Micaela Oliveira, Alves/Gonçalves and Luís Onofre’s fashion shows.

The presentation of “I am what I wear”, by Impetus, was also scheduled for this day, but for reasons unrelated to Portugal Fashion, it was cancelled.

After the After Show Party on Saturday, Sunday started very early with a segment dedicated to children’s fashion.

The late afternoon program opened with Marques’Almeida, followed by Alexandra Moura, Carla Pontes and David Catalán, who closed the event.
