Portugal Fashion partnered with Marques’Almeida in their presentation film for the autumn-winter 2022 collection. A unique collection with the collaboration of five Portuguese artisans and artists. Breaking with the traditional paradigm of fashion weeks and as a way of communicating Portugal, the film values the focus on sustainability and, therefore, the commitment to increasingly improve the manufacturing and supply techniques of the duo.
The collection has a varied color palette, citrus fruit details, psychedelic patchwork, tie-dye pieces, shredded jeans, white hammock dresses, and English embroidery, thus seeking to preserve the ancestral knowledge of local communities. Therefore, fish scales or limpets are essential elements for creating unique garments.
