Rioplere received Marish Chauhan, Indias’s Ambassador in Portugal, on the 11th May. The company from Pousada de Saramagos took advantage of the visit to show its ultimation and quality control areas and debate themes such as the new commercial agreements between the European Union and India, the progress in commercial and infrastructure areas, structural reforms needed and possible investments.
“The enhancement of economic relations with India has been strengthened since the end of 2000’s and has materialised in partnerships with great raw-materials suppliers”, states the company in its official website apropos the Ambassador’s visit. Riopele has a subsidiary, which opened in 2019, for activities connected to “the sourcing of raw materials, supply-chain activities and fashion fabrics supply”.
In February this year José Alexandre Oliveira, Riopele’s CEO had received the visit of Vitor Sereno, Portugal’s Ambassador in Japan.
