RIOPELE INVESTS 1.5 MILLION AND OPENS NEW LOGISTICS CENTRE

After an investment of 1.5 million euros, Riopele inaugurated a new logistics centre with more than eight thousand square meters. A new space that complies with the company’s environmental goals, and that results from the “deep rehabilitation of the company’s first industrial building, in a project that aimed to unify Riopele’s logistical operations”, as the company states.

Occupying an area of 8,300 m², the modern logistic infrastructures “will be able to store 400 tons of wire and 600 thousand meters of mesh, in a space that meets all the company’s new needs, in terms of storage conditions, and quick and flexible response”.

The new logistics hub complies with the company’s environmental goals:  a central collector, which will gather rainwater from the roofs, was also installed, and will be able to recover around 15 thousand m³ per year.

At the beginning of February, a new phase of rehabilitation and modernization of the company’s social spaces was concluded – several offices, bar and changing rooms in the logistics centre, and the expansion of the administrative building canteen, “a significant investment made by the company” – which thus intends to improve the working conditions of all employees.
