Called RePurse, Ownever has a new line of bags made with scrap leather from previous collections by luxury brands. “These brands discarded fur, but Ownever saw something more”, says Eliana Barros, founder of the brand, in a statement.
The first model launched is the RePurse Crème, a hand or shoulder bag with a cream-colored leather interior and an organic cotton dust bag. It is a limited edition “since, once the leather color is available, the bag will no longer be available”, says the company.
But new colors will come soon to continue the initiative of the Portuguese brand: “Our craftsmen meticulously chose each piece of leather and created exclusive bags with a timeless design and great durability. All bags have lifetime maintenance available”, adds the founder.
