LION OF PORCHES WANTS TO GROW IN SPAIN

Doubling the network of stores in the Spanish market in the next two years is the most recent bet of the Portuguese brand of the Dogs de Pedra Group, owner of the Lion of Porches brand. With around 100 multi-brand points of sale and seven corners in the El Corte Inglés, the goal is to make Spain responsible for 20% of the brand’s turnover, and surpass Portugal as its first market.

“Our focus is set on the multi-brand stores, that’s where we want to double our presence”, explains Nuno Azevedo, director of international markets, in statements to the Spanish edition of Fashion Network. “In the future, the goal is to turn Spain into our first market, surpassing Portugal”, he adds.

The opening of a new single-brand store is planned for the current year, and two for 2023, in Madrid and the Basque Country, are part of a strategy aimed at increasing to 20% the turnover in the Spanish market.

The Spanish stylist Juan del Rio is now responsible for the Lion of Porches men’s designs, with Júlio Torcato being responsible for all the collections (men and women) of Decenio, following the recent changes in the creative direction of the group.
