The Portuguese JF Almeida is responsible for designing and producing the new bed and bath linen for La Torre del Canónico, a five-star hotel located in the centre of Ibiza. In addition to the rooms, the company also supplied the linen for the hotel’s restaurant, Kyupiddo.
“For this project, a personalized collection of bed and bath linen was designed according to the client’s needs and requests”, explains JF Almeida, in a statement. The project had the collaboration of Catalan designer and architect Lazaro Rosa-Violan, who decorated the hotel, located on Monte Dalt Vila, in Ibiza, in a 14th century building.
For the bed, bath and table textiles, both for the bedrooms and the restaurant, JF almeida made custom pieces with the La Torre del Canónico logo. For the towels, “first quality cotton” was used, and 600 threads fabric was the raw material for the bedspreads. Pure linen items were also manufactured for the restaurant.
Specialized in home textiles, the JF Almeida group employs a team of 650 people and reaches an annual turnover of around 60 million euros. More than 90% of its sales are destined for foreign markets.
