CARVEMA, TINTEX AND COLOR FOR TEX AWARDED AT ISPO

Bloomati by Carvema, Color for Tex and Tintex are the three Portuguese companies awarded in the Autumn-Winter 23/24 edition of the ISPO Munich Textrends Forum. The largest international fair for sports textiles highlights the three companies’ products for their performance, technology and sustainability, and will be included in the Trendbook guide.

With four knits awarded, Bloomati by Carvema stands out. “Last year we had a mesh awarded, this year there were four. We are very happy and certain of our path”, reveals Alice Sampaio, responsible for the brand’s marketing, who saw a mesh made of modal and elastane distinguished in the Top10 of the Base Layer category, with a finish that improves elasticity by 20%. A mesh in recycled polyester and elastane, with an antibacterial finish, was also highlighted.

In addition to the knits awarded in the Top10 of the Base Layer category, for sports use, Bloomati is also on the Selection list of the Base Layer category, with a recycled polyester and organic cotton rib with a temperature-regulating finish. It was also selected in the Performance Finishes category with a polyamide elastane fibre, with antibacterial finish.

Tintex, on the other hand, was distinguished in the Top5 of the Performance Finishes category with a sports piqué fabric that can be used both by the sportswear market, as well as the luxury loungewear. Draped in an organic cotton knit, this piqué also features a functional finish that fights odours caused by bacteria, sweat or environmental sources.

The Portuguese textiles were also distinguished with a print by Color for Tex, a fabric made of cotton and polyester with zero percent water waste, and which is now part of the Top10 in the Innovation category.
