WHO’S NEXT: CRISTINA BARROS EXPANDS PRESENCE IN THE UNITED STATES

Another edition of the Who’s Next fashion fair ended this Monday in Paris. The balance is positive for the From Portugal quartet to be present at the event. The Portuguese Cristina Barros, one of the examples of this, even guaranteed the brand expansion on the East Coast of the United States.

The balance could not be more favorable for the four Portuguese companies participating in another edition of Who’s Next, which ends this Monday in Paris. Cristina Barros, Lemon Jelly, SMF, and Sister Department are the Portuguese brands welcomed by a fair with full corridors, buyers from various parts of the world, and a great desire to do business.

Receiving at its stand “regular customers from Paris and surrounding areas, but also customers from the United Arab Emirates, the USA, and several Asian countries”, the Cristina Barros brand could not be more pleased with this edition of the Parisian fashion fair. Marco Costa, CFO of Blackspider, the company that owns the Cristina Barros brand, guarantees.

“We have concluded a pre-distribution agreement for the Cristina Barros brand for the East Coast of the USA, which will reinforce our presence on the American continent”, says Marco Costa enthusiastically.

In addition to the remarkable reinforcement of the presence of the Portuguese brand in the USA, Cristina Barros’ CFO considers that “Paris will always be the city where the best fashion houses meet to share the best done” which, argues, partly justifies the success of this edition of Who’s Next.

The participation of Portuguese SMEs in Who’s Next is an initiative by Selectiva Moda and ATP – Associação Têxtil e Vestuário de Portugal, which aims to promote the internationalization of Portuguese companies in the textile sector. This fair is in the From Portugal project, within the scope of the application presented to the Portugal 2030 joint internationalization projects.
