After having been in Italy at Pitti Bimbo last week, Wedoble is heading back to the City of Light to present its spring-summer 2025 collection at Playtime Paris from 29 to 1 July. Boundless Love is essentially made up of organic cotton garments and approximately 60 per cent of the items are GOTS certified.
“We’ve integrated eco-design principles into quite a few references, for example using mono-fibre compositions, limiting the use of accessories and complements,” Márcia Pacheco, from the communication department, told T Jornal.
Wedoble’s star product is 3D knitted garments with residual waste, which they call ‘wholegarment’. They stand out for their comfort and for being more environmentally friendly.
In terms of challenges, the A.Ferreira & Filho brand highlights “a reduction in consumption”, which continued to be seen at Pitti Bimbo. “It didn’t go according to expectations: there were few exhibitors and few customers, and it fell short of expectations. We hope Paris goes much better, as it has in recent editions.”
The company’s strategy is currently to consolidate its presence in the markets of Spain, Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway. It also already operates in Latin America.
