MD Textiles has high expectations for their participation in the next Modtissimo. At a time when the market is difficult, CEO Sara Oliveira says: “We, exhibiting companies have to unite in order to continue offering quality and differentiation to foreign buyers. That’s the only way we’ll survive.
The company from Barcelos will be diversifying its showroom for the next edition of the textile fair, placing special emphasis on recycled and eco-sustainable materials, different application techniques and artworks, and various finishing processes, “which are a trend, such as sprays, tye-dyes, smoky colours…”, it says in a preview.
Sara Oliveira believes that “Portugal continues to be sought after for its know-how, for its ability to offer quality products”, and sees the ATP’s attitude of “not dropping the fair which is vital for the sector” as positive, as well as applauding the efforts “to bring new buyers to the fair”.
