TMG TEXTILES PRESENTS ANNUAL ‘SAFRA’ COLLECTION AT MAJOR TRADE FAIRS

TMG Textiles took part in Milano Unica last week with a new model: an annual 360 collection that increasingly reinforces the quality and sustainability of their products. ‘We didn’t pause all day, it was a positive first day of visits,’ Pedro Silva, R&D and creative manager, told T Jornal.

‘SAFRA’ was the name chosen taking into consideration the “perspective of harvest, of an annual harvest, depending on the season”, he explained. It’s also a reference to the inspiration in nature, ‘immediately visible in the sober colour palette’ and earthy tones. This launch is also accompanied by a unique tactile sensation and lightness.

‘In the moodboard we’ve displayed in the “Sintesi” area, we’ve explored craftsmanship, the handmade part of our fabrics, the natural colours of cotton and linen, while also focusing on recycled materials, rustic aspects and the touch. We don’t have unnecessary options, we don’t use dyes…’ he added.

‘The first trade fair we brought this collection was Texpremium last year. Then we did Munich Fabric Start, a fair that needs remodeling. We’re now at Milano Unica and this start tells us that Paris is going to lose momentum,’ he predicts.

‘Milano Unica is at an amazing level, we can even see many French customers, which to us doesn’t make sense with Première Vision coming up next week. But it’s a point of reflection for the PV organisation,’ he concluded.

The year 2025 will mark a phase of transition and reinvention for TMG Textiles, which wants to be increasingly focused on its customers and convey the message that ‘the company is a creative centre, a home’.
