TMG Textiles is investing increasingly in the Performance Days trade fair, and to surprise us in this edition it brought 4 Way Stretch, a new bielastic fabric ‘It’s super light (110gr/m2), it’s ready for sublimation, with 50 per cent elasticity to the warp and 50 per cent to the weft,’ Hélder Rosendo told T Jornal in the morning.
The innovation was designed and developed for cycling jerseys because of its excellent aerodynamic performance and good degree of compression, says the business director. ‘I can say that we had a lively morning, with some contacts already made,’ he commented. The company also has a sample at the restricted Innovation Forum. EAGLE 190 combines sustainability, innovation, functionality and softness in a single item, aimed at sportswear and leisurewear.
‘The main fibre is lyocell microfilament, which enhances touch, fluidity and luxury. A blend of mint viscose has also been introduced, obtained from natural mint powders derived from food industry waste, classified as 100 per cent biodegradable. Mint viscose has an antibacterial effect and is resistant to washing,’ reads the description accompanying the product.
