TMG Automotive and The Haartz Corporation have joined forces once again to open a new production facility in North Carolina. The creation of a joint venture aims to invest in a new factory located in Bostic, United States, dedicated to the production of interior automotive trim materials.
The new unit will be installed in the former Milliken Golden Valley factory, covering a production area of 28,000 square meters. “This strategic decision is the result of a relationship built on mutual trust, shared values, and a firm commitment to excellence in the automotive sector. Both companies demonstrate a deep understanding of market demands and a constant dedication to delivering superior value to customers,” the press release highlights.
The joint venture will focus on locally supplying materials for seat covers, instrument panels, door pillars, and shift boot bellows. José António Teixeira, Business Director at TMG Automotive, justifies the choice of North Carolina as the headquarters for this new unit, stating that it “reflects a careful assessment of the conditions necessary to support sustainable growth, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain proximity to key markets.”
With this partnership, TMG and Haartz will be able to serve all of America, significantly strengthening their global supply chain.
