Tajiservi invites the community for housewarming party

Tajiservi is welcoming the New Year in style with the inauguration of its new headquarters in Vila das Aves, featuring an area five times larger than the previous facilities. The special occasion will be commemorated with a two-day celebration, which starts today, with the Tajiservi Talks conferences, and ends up tomorrow with an Open House, which will display the technologies that the company represents in Portugal.

Specialized in machinery and consumer goods for embroidery, the company – formerly based in Lordelo, Guimarães – takes the opportunity to present the several technologies with which it stands out on the Portuguese market, highlighting the sustainable production ones. In fact, the theme of the Tajiservi Talks is “The paradigm shifts in textile consumption – The importance of the 3 R’s”.

The Mayor of Santo Tirso, Alberto Costa, and Paulo Vaz (ATP) are among the guest speakers, in a list headed by Júlia Petiz, Tajiservi CEO, and made up of many key figures of Portuguese fashion, such as Catarina Lopes, Nüwa’s founder, Marta Cerqueira, MAGG editor, and Paulo Gomes, founder of Manifesto Moda and curator of the Green Circle showcase.

The meeting will also be attended by the several brands that the company represents in Portugal – starting with the Japanese Tajima, which inspired the name Tajiservi, as well as Pulse, Seit Elettronica, Kornit, UES Foils and Düzey.

On the second day, January 25th, the Open House will showcase the countless systems and technologies that the company provides to the Portuguese Textile and Clothing Industry. Embroidery and direct printing machines, and lasers for cutting, engraving and marking are some highlights.
