SCHOELLER RETURNS TO MODTISSIMO TO STRENGTHEN THE DOMESTIC MARKET

For the third time, the Austrian group Schoeller Spinning is preparing its presence at MODTISSIMO 60+2 (on the 13th and 14th of September at Exponor) to continue its growth in the Portuguese market with identified leverage. “The contribution to our growth is recognized. We praise the event evolution and the work done by Selectiva Moda”, told Manuel Rodrigues, responsible for the representation in Portugal, to T Jornal.

The company specializing in wool and technical yarns, whose slogan is ‘We Love Wool’, brings the new autumn/winter 24/25 collection, as usually presented in two catalogs. “In the first, we highlight some of our 100% yarns wool, merino wool and extra fine merino wool, running through our vast color palette. The second will present our proposals for blends with emphasis on blends of wool with alpaca, bamboo, hemp, and Tencel”, explained Manuel Rodrigues.

“Obviously, our ‘Climayarn’ will not be missing with its outstanding thermoregulation qualities, neither the Hosiery, Functional and Technical yarn collections. A work of continuity to what we’vee been doing”, added. With a list of loyal customers from the last editions, “we already have some visits scheduled, and we plan to make the last appointments in the week before the salon”..

Since MODTISSIMO is an event full of opportunities, due to the growing number of visitors, the feedback from the participation of Schoeller has been very positive and has gone against the strategy outlined. For the September edition, with all the current uncertainties in international markets, “expectations cannot be too high. However, we believe in our potential and the quality and innovation of our collections for another positive balance in the final balance of MODTISSIMO”.

“Since MODTISSIMO is an event with a strong presence and international buyers, we never neglect these visits, which in previous editions had a very relevant presence”. Considering its positioning at the fair “ideal for our activity”, Manuel Rodrigues reinforced that “with our presence at the fair, we are just a visit away from MODTISSIMO”.
