SALSA JEANS COMMITS TO OPEN NEW STORES IN EUROPE

Born in Ribeirão in 1994, it is present in more than 40 countries, and it is carrying out “investments to make the brand grow in current markets, in Spain, France, and the Middle East, but also to replicate the success story of Salsa Jeans in other countries, such as Ireland, where we will open the first store next month, which will be followed by the Benelux and Nordic countries”.

This is how Hugo Martins, CEO of Salsa Jeans, defined the group’s growth strategy for the short and medium term, having taken advantage of the presence in the company of the mayor of Famalicão, Mário Passos, within the scope of the ‘Roteiro Famalicão Created IN’.

“I noticed an idea we emphasized for a long time: the business ecosystem. The technological centers, universities, and public policies that we have, are promoters of innovation and creativity in a different way and for the better, which reflects in human capital in many of the companies in the municipality of Famalicão, of which Salsa Jeans is an excellent example”, said the mayor, quoted in a statement from the municipality.

Salsa Jeans will invest around seven million euros in the dyeing and laundry industrial unit transformation, “a large part in equipment that will allow us to reduce water consumption”, preparing this unit for the new challenges of the industry and climate transition commitments. About one million pants are shipped, per year, from Salsa Jeans to 44 countries. And Salsa has more than 200 stores around the world.
