ROQ is expected to reach a consolidated turnover of 88 million euros in 2022, having exported 85% of its production. The company from Famalicão is one of the World’s leading manufacturers of textile printing machines and sells to more than 80 countries on five continents.
“We are a company that focuses on research and development. Our range of products covers machinery manufacture and sale of and printing equipment for the textile industry. Which includes stamping, digital printing, packaging lines, drying ovens and complementary equipment focused on the textile industry”, says the company’s CEO Fernando Pinto, quoted by Correio da Manhã.
Following the attribution of the Portugal Inspirador Prize to ROQ, in the Innovation category, the CEO highlights the example of the machine that they managed to develop and assemble in a short time. In 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, ROQ developed, in less than two months and in collaboration with CITEVE, an automated machine that makes up to 120 surgical masks per minute.
With a team of 720 employees with branches in Brazil and the United States, ROQ has a network of agents who guarantee distribution and after-sales service in the markets ROQ operates.
