RE.STORE REUSED 5 TONS OF FABRICS SINCE 2020

re.store emerged in 2020 in Braga to transform textile waste and contribute to social inclusion. Since its inception, it has already reused 5 tons of fabric, exceeding the proposed target for 2022.

In a statement, the social innovation company also highlights that, in 2022, it worked on several solutions to avoid textile waste and promote social inclusion. By so, the number of members who collaborate in its project increased.

All re.store products are made – using waste and leftovers from the textile industry – by social partners remunerated for their work. In addition to these actions, there is also promotion at schools and organizations, spreading collective awareness for the sustainability and ecological practices adoption.

Pillows, purses, cases, or aprons are some examples of the products available online on the website of the brand Braga, which mentions focusing on the 3PS: people, planet, and pedagogy.
