Fibrenamics announced this week that its president, Raúl Fangueiro, is among the two percent most quoted scientists in the world, according to a study by Stanford University in the United States.
‘Taking into account the two fundamental pillars of Fibrenamics‘ strategy – internationalisation and international recognition – the inclusion of Raúl Fangueiro lends credibility to the quality of the work we do with our partners, both national and international,’ reads the announcement.
‘World’s Top 2% Scientists 2024′ has a total of 223,000 researchers listed, 889 of them Portuguese, organised into 22 categories and 174 areas of expertise. Helena Felgueiras and Andrea Zille, researchers at the Centre for Textile Science and Technology at the University of Minho, are two other names from the sector mentioned.
