RANGEL INVESTS 14.5 MILLION TO EXPAND

The Rangel Group has just opened its own facilities in South Africa and Mexico, reinforcing its commitment to internationalization. At the same time, the company debuted a new logistics platform in Figueira da Foz.

Three new activity fronts that represent an investment of 2.5 million euros, to which the group will add another 12 million, to be spent over the next four years in strengthening Rangel Pharma, the company’s unit for medical products transport and storage.

With a long-established partnership with the textile and fashion sectors, Rangel also has a Fashion & Lifestyle department, devoted to the transport needs of the textile and clothing industry. In addition to goods delivery, the company provides stock management services such as picking, colour-code article organization, or preparation for international shipping.

Executive President Nuno Rangel said that the group closed 2020 with a 5% growth (the initial forecast was 13%), over 200 million euros in turnover. For 2021, the forecasts point to a 7% growth in turnover.
