LEMAR’s participation at Première Vision Paris is off to a positive start, with the company receiving multiple fabric inquiries from clients. Present at the fair for over 15 years, the company benefits from deep knowledge of its dynamics.
“We have been attending this fair for many editions; the process is well established,” says Flávio Dias, export manager, speaking to T Jornal, noting no significant difference despite Portugal being one of the three Savoir-Faire Territories at the event.
“Of course, working as part of a network is always beneficial, but we felt the same level of curiosity. Being a European fair, there is also a clear commitment to promoting Made in Europe, although most exhibitors are still from outside Europe,” he adds.
As part of its presence at Première Vision, LEMAR submitted several references to the fair’s forums, which were selected by the organizers. “These are new developments from scratch and recent variations of proven successful bases, with a clear focus on recycled and biodegradable materials,” Dias explains.
With eight decades of experience producing high-quality fabrics, the longevity of the Pevidém-based company is built on a continuous commitment to innovation, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering strong business relationships.
Aligned with the Portugal – Living Sustain initiative, LEMAR has set ambitious sustainability goals, most visible in its choice of raw materials. These range from ocean-recovered plastics to bio-based fibers, industrial waste, PET plastics, organic waste, and fibers sourced from recycled end-of-life tires.
