The Techtextil and Texprocess fairs open their doors tomorrow, featuring significant Portuguese participation. Alongside individual company stands, the national textile and apparel industry will be concentrated in two dedicated islands at Techtextil, within the scope of the Sustainable Textile & Apparel From PORTUGAL project.
A total of 27 Portuguese exhibitors are present, including companies, technology centres and research institutions. The delegation is distributed across halls 9.0, 9.1, 11.0, 11.1 and 12.1, where over four days the following will be present: A. Penteadora, Artefita, A. Sampaio & Filhos, ATB – Acabamentos Têxteis de Barcelos, Bloomati by Carvema, CeNTI, CITEVE, Cordex, Endutex, F.D.G – Fiação da Graça, Fibrenamics, Fitexar, Heliotextil, Impetus, Innofiber Research Lab, Inovafil, Lineartex/Dehora, MCS Textile Solutions, Monteiro Ribas Revestimentos, Neves & Companhia (Coltec), Quality Lab, Refibertech, Tiajo, TMG Textiles, Trimalhas, Trim NW and Trivialtex. Some of these companies are participating for the first time in this major international trade fair dedicated to technical textiles.
In hall 8.0, reserved for technology, Portugal will be represented at Texprocess by Invescorte, within ATP’s internationalisation project, joined by AUP – Automação de Unidades de Produção, Mind and CITEVE.
The return to Germany comes with several innovations, highlighting solutions that combine sustainability and performance. At the same time, there is a growing focus on applications for more demanding sectors, such as the military field, which has been attracting increasing interest.
