A. Sampaio, Joaps, Lemar, and Tearfil were the companies in the From Portugal committee, joined by the Portuguese companies Adalberto, ATB, and Malhas Sonix, who were present at yet another edition of Neonyt, which took place from the 22nd to the 24th of July in Dusseldorf, in Germany.
The Portuguese companies were at the iTechStyle Green Circle, which took seven coordinates to Neonyt with materials from the aforementioned Portuguese companies. “In this particular show, we highlight the biomaterials and recycled material produced by our companies that are represented here in different garments and that, as usual, have received much praise from visitors”, explained Cristina Castro, public relations at CITEVE.
“The fair was held for the second year in Dusseldorf. Until then, it had taken place in Berlin. Somehow, it is clear that it is still necessary to implement and position itself in this new location”, considered Cristina Castro, thus justifying a turnout to the fair smaller than in previous editions. Focused on sustainability, the fair has German buyers, but it is also visited by customers from Austria, the Netherlands, and the rest of Europe.
The iTechStyle Green Circle is a sustainability show for the Portuguese textile and clothing sector promoted by CITEVE in partnership with ASM – Associação Selectiva Moda and curated by Paulo Gomes.
