Portugal Projects a Sustainable Future at Première Vision

Portugal will be present next week, from 16 to 18 September, at Première Vision Paris, bringing to this international stage a textile industry that combines tradition, innovation, creativity, and responsibility.

Within the framework of the Sustainable Textile & Apparel From PORTUGAL project, participating companies include 6 Dias Têxteis, A. Sampaio & Filhos, Albano Morgado, Brito Knitting, Lemar, Magma Têxtil, NGS Malhas, Sidónios Knitwear, and Troficolor Denim Makers (Fabrics area), Circlo EcoDesign & Circularity (Smart Creation), and Cosmiknit (Leather)—the latter two making their debut at the fair.

The Portuguese delegation presents itself in Paris not just as a supplier, but as a visionary partner: shaping the way fashion feels, looks, and endures over time.

From knits designed with circularity in their DNA to denim that remains authentic while integrating innovation, and luxury fabrics that balance precision and imagination, each company brings more than a product—they bring a vision of the future, where artisanal know-how aligns with sustainability and technology intersects with emotion.

Certifications such as GOTS, RWS, or ZDHC are not mere labels for these companies, but the foundation of a production process that respects people, animals, and the planet, while meeting the creative demands of designers and brands worldwide.

The Portuguese presence is therefore a reflection of diversity and unity: from fabrics made of recycled fibers to knits with innovative touch, and collections that combine sophistication and daring, the message is clear—today’s quality must serve the future.

In addition to these, the following companies will also exhibit in Paris: A Castro & Filhos, Addvance Studio, Atlanta Steps, Boltflex, Casa da Malha, Cordeiro & Campos, Dias Ruivo, Elmate – Malhas e Confecções, Eyand, Fábrica de Tecidos Vilarinho, Fitecom, FLM Têxtil, Inducol, Indutan, Inovafil, J. Caetano & Filhos, Lima e Companhia, Lurdes Sampaio, Matias – Araújo, Montagut Industries – Orfama, Paulo de Oliveira, Penteadora, Positive Materials, R. Lobo Empresa de Confeções, Siena, Soeiro, Somani, Texser – Têxtil de Serzedelo, TMG Textiles, TMR Fashion Clothing, Trimalhas, Vilartex, and Wat.

Portugal thus presents itself with an offering that is not just materials, but true means of transformation—designed to inspire, endure, and make fashion a space where creativity and responsibility coexist in harmony.
