Another edition of Techtextil, the leading trade fair for technical textiles, kicks off tomorrow, April 23, in Germany. The contingent of Portuguese companies, which will be spread over two islands, includes ATP members A.Sampaio & Filhos, Bloomati, Coltec, Endutex, Impetus, JF Almeida, Tearfil and TMG.
Other portuguese exhibitors include A Penteadora, ADI Center, Artefita, Cordex, Inovafil, Lunartex, SGL Composites, Smart Inovation, Tiajo, Trim NW and Trivialtex. CITEVE, CeNTI and Fibrenamics will also be presenting a range of technical textiles, nonwovens, textiles for functional clothing and textile technologies.
“We’re delighted that portugueses companies are once again taking part in Techtextil fair, and its number are roughly the same as last year,” says Cristina Motta, Messe Frankfurt’s representative in Portugal, to T Jornal. “We’re looking forward to this edition with great anticipation and it’s worth highlighting the new Econogy concept, which aims to highlight companies in the sector that meet the criteria of ecology and sustainability,” she highlights. The Econogy Finder, which can be consulted here, includes Impetus, Neves & Companhia (Coltec) and Tearfil.
At the same time, and until the 26th, Texprocess is taking place, with its own pavilion, which also includes developments by BKR Internacional, Bolsibotão, Invescorte, Lasembor and Nevsta.
