PENTEADORA IS EXPLORING MARKETS IN NORTH AMERICA AND ASIA

Penteadora will be at Première Vision Paris and Milano Unica trade fairs next July. With the events just a few weeks away, the company has already scheduled several meetings with target customers from a wide range of markets. “Our current focus is on consolidating current markets and prospecting new markets, such as North America and Asia,” says Ângelo Correia, commercial director.

In the same context, he told T Jornal that there has been a growing demand for quality, proximity and trustworthy suppliers. “We hope that customers will look for the right partners at the upcoming fairs to build and consolidate business relationships.”

For the winter of 2025, Penteadora is betting on a diversified collection, offering wool fabrics and blends of polyester and other fibres. “The big news is the total range of ‘green’ articles, in which we will always have at least 20% recycled fibres (40% for the most part),” announces Ângelo Correia, pointing out the company’s commitment to the mission of minimising its environmental footprint.

There is also a range of pure wool items in natural colours, without any associated dyeing process, and a wide range of technical items – the Hybrid collection – “where we present articles with the application of membranes, coatings and meshes, in a range that gives the fabrics characteristics such as water repellency or waterproofing, while maintaining breathability and technical comfort”.

It’s worth noting that Penteadora has been taking part in Première Vision for over 30 years without interruption – “we can see the evolution of the customer not only in terms of product and service, but also in terms of sustainability and traceability”. In order to meet its customers’ demands, the company has invested in certifications such as Oeko-Tex, STeP and GRS.
