Noção da Qualidade chose MOD’Unica as its first textile fair to present itself. Established in 2007, the company produces all kinds of collars, cuffs and straps on flatbed machines. Featured on their stand on February 26 and 27 was a collar with more than 20 vertical colours, a project made possible thanks to the acquisition of a new machine.
Paula Dantas, managing partner, told T Jornal that they have made considerable investments in state-of-the-art machinery, an example of which is a machine that allows 32 different colors to be placed vertically on a single collar.
‘Polo collars are our star product. If it’s a plain collar we can produce two a minute, but we’re especially challenged with more elaborate collars. In these cases, we can personalize them, for example with the customer’s name or logo, and we also make double-sided collars or collars with cross threads,’ she explains.
Their latest investments have allowed them to increase the company’s productivity by over 50 per cent, and it now has around 13 workers and runs 24 hours a day. ‘We’re GOTS and GRS certified, we’ve been choosing more and more sustainable equipment and the company is already covered in solar panels,’ says Paula Dantas.
The year 2024 was a great year for this company, while 2025 was planned as the year to launch a new image and focus on finding new clients to utilise the increase in production capacity.
