The edition is number 60 and tradition counts even more than usual in these days of new challenges: MODTISSIMO, the fair where innovation, sustainability and the design of Portuguese textiles and fashion come together on the most international stage in the country, is back on the 6th and 7th of next September. Exponor is repeated – which generated so many positive feedbacks throughout the previous edition, but this time in pavilion 6, even more prepared for an event with the characteristics of the oldest textile fair in the Iberian Peninsula.
It is beginning to be difficult for MODTISSIMO to break records – in the 59th edition, around five thousand visitors and 300 exhibitors filled Exponor’s pavilion 5 – but, at a time when the confinement of the pandemic seems to be nothing more than a weird memory and the exports return to the top of the business agenda, presence at the fair can make all the difference.
The round number implies a special edition. The organization is preparing a series of events that will mark the sixtieth time that the textile and fashion sector has come together, not only to highlight what is most effective and unique in Portugal, but also to register the event on the happy side of memory of those there.
In this phase of launching the MODTISSIMO 60, interested parties already have at their disposal the registration form that will give them access to what someone said was “the heart of fashion, which beats in Porto”.
