The repositioning and rejuvenation of the Portuguese Jeanswear brand, as well as the growth and expansion into new markets, are the priorities of the new manager.
In a statement, Salsa highlights that “at Burberry, where she was for eight years, Mia led the children’s clothing line, defining the product strategy according to the needs of the market on a global scale. Later, at Tommy Hilfiger, she started as vice president of the Denim department, and then led the Design, Merchandising, Planning, Product Development and Sourcing teams”.
For her part, the new manager stresses that “Salsa is a reference in Jeanswear, with a truly remarkable path and expertise. It is a very challenging project, not only for everything it already represents, for the international relevance it has, and for the credibility it offers with its product, but mainly for what is yet to come”.
