Magma Têxtil is now certified at Supplier to Zero level 2, meeting the requirements of the progressive level of the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) program for the sustainable management of chemical products. Cláudia Faria, who is responsible for obtaining the certifications, told T Jornal that it was a “laborious and demanding” process.
“Our achievement only shows that Magma Têxtil is a company capable of taking responsibility for its performance in the management of chemical products in its ongoing commitment to improving the impact of its supply chain,” she said.
Supplier to Zero helps companies to put their potential into practice in the area of chemicals management, specifically to identify areas for improvement in the sustainable management of chemicals and the reduction of risks and costs associated with outdated practices.
