Madalena Beça Knitwear will be present at Modtissimo with proposals for the new autumn/winter collections, highlighting the use of natural and recycled fibres. “We’re confident that the new arrivals will be well received and we’re looking forward to sharing more about our work with all the visitors,” Tatiana de Beça tells T Jornal.
“We are proud to announce that the company is GOTS, RWS, GRS and OCS certified, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability and quality,” she says, emphasising the family nature of the company and its efforts to implement new sustainable production practices.
The head of commercial also hopes that the fair will contribute to greater recognition and the possibility of exploring new markets. “This event is an opportunity for us to connect with new clients and partners, as well as to strengthen our ties with our established contacts.”
Madalena Beça Knitwear works on a private label basis, exporting almost 100 per cent of its production. “Our business showed a positive trajectory in 2023, demonstrating our resilience in a competitive market. In 2024, we are making significant progress in the area of sustainability and innovation and have seen encouraging results,” she said.
