Lunartex has confirmed its participation in the ‘pinnacle of world sports fairs’, ISPO Munich. ‘We think this is an important business area, which is perhaps the fastest growing,’ says Rui Lopes from the export department. The elastic and trimmings company is taking new reflective accessories to Germany.
‘This year we’ll be presenting some new developments in terms of the development of reflective articles and our sustainable products,’ he told T Jornal. He sees this participation as a challenge – ‘we have to be systematically at the cutting edge of technology and development’ – but at the same time as a rewarding opportunity – ‘the fair provides participating companies with quality visitors. It’s also an important point for sharing information and knowledge,’ he added.
He also said first-hand that Lunartex expects exports to rise: ‘We’re going to increase exports, and this will undoubtedly be our best year since the pandemic. We’re going to balance the scales and achieve the goals we’ve set ourselves,’ says a satisfied Rui Lopes.
The work of reinventing and adapting to market demands is at the root of these good results. ‘The market is currently undergoing reinvention, which forces companies to make a constant effort to keep up with the market. Fortunately, Lunartex has managed to deliver what the market is asking for,’ he concludes.
