LOUROPEL BETS ON RECYCLED BUTTONS FOR MODTISSIMO

For 30 years, Louropel has been characterised by a concern for sustainability and is keen to demonstrate this at the next edition of Modtissimo with buttons and accessories made from recycled components, along with other new products and trends, which already account for 25% of their global production.

‘Since Louropel’s participation in Modtissimo 2022, collaboration has always been positive and characterised by great flexibility on the part of the organiser,’ Vera Moreira told T Jornal.

From here, expectations could only be positive. ‘These kinds of events make it possible to get in touch with different visitors and also producers in the textile sector. They allow more informal and even individualised access to producers/brands,’ she said.

She goes on to comment on the global market: ‘It is currently working with lower quality, but increasingly demanding in terms of the type of response,’ she says, referring to the short delivery times.

In its portfolio, the company from Vila Nova de Famalicão, has all kinds of buttons and buckles for clothing, including technical clothing, particularly military clothing.
