Lenzing confirmed T Jornal its presence at Modtissimo with a new fibre for the colder season. ‘It’s a fibre already proven to be used in flannels, both for bedding and shirts,’ says representative Pedro Gonçalves.
The fibre can also be used in shirting, as well as knitting, ‘particularly terry toweling, where the touch is warmer and it has a unique volume and drop’, he adds, distinguishing it from other natural fibers.
The group’s commercial brand, Tencel, recently revamped its image to convey an identity more geared towards innovation and collaboration, which can be seen and felt at their stand.
‘The new motto ’Nature. Future. Us‘ creates a very inspiring and inclusive voice for Tencel,’ says Eva McGeorge, global marketing director, quoted in an announcement. Lenzing is also undergoing changes to its board of directors this September, with outgoing CEO Rohit Aggarwal taking over from Stephan Sielaff.
