Lemar takes fabrics with character to The London Textile Fair

LEMAR is presenting an expanded collection at The London Textile Fair, which opens its doors tomorrow, 14 July, at London’s Business Design Centre. During the two-day event, the company will showcase its Pre-Collection for Autumn/Winter 2027, featuring new Merino wool blends alongside refreshed developments in its range of sustainable woven fabrics.

This year’s July edition marks a significant change in the fair’s calendar. Traditionally held in September, The London Textile Fair was brought forward following feedback from the industry and evolving sourcing practices, enabling brands to start planning and developing their collections earlier.

At the heart of LEMAR’s presentation is a new collection of Merino wool blends, combining the natural comfort and elegance of Merino wool with the durability and technical performance of polyamide.

“London has always appreciated fabrics with character,” the company says to T Jornal. “At The London Textile Fair, LEMAR presents a collection that builds on our expertise while introducing new possibilities.”

According to the company, the new qualities “represent a significant addition to the LEMAR collection”, offering brands new options for premium apparel across a wide range of applications, including technical apparel, sportswear, activewear, outerwear, womenswear, menswear, dress wear, swimwear and accessories.

Alongside these developments, LEMAR is also presenting its established range of sustainable woven fabrics, now updated with new colourways and print developments, all produced using certified sustainable yarns.

Ahead of the event, The London Textile Fair featured LEMAR in its “Exhibitor Spotlight”, describing the Portuguese company as one of the exhibitors “shaping the future of textiles”. The organisers highlighted its combination of Portuguese textile heritage, technical expertise and responsible sourcing.

LEMAR’s participation at The London Textile Fair is supported under ATP – Portuguese Textile & Clothing Association’s internationalisation project, Sustainable Textile & Apparel From PORTUGAL.
