LEMAR is exploring fabrics that combine new materials, technical expertise and performance, while also responding to the growing demand for more responsible solutions. One of the products that best represents this approach is on display at Première Vision Paris until Thursday: a fabric combining merino wool and polyamide.
“It combines the natural comfort, softness and thermoregulatory properties of merino wool with the durability and technical performance of polyamide,” the company explains, inviting visitors to discover the fabric. According to LEMAR, the article is an example of its approach to innovation: “developing solutions that bring a tangible benefit to the fabric and its end use”.
The choice takes on particular significance at this edition of Première Vision Paris, which places innovation and technology at the centre of the industry’s response to its key challenges.
For LEMAR, more than ever, innovation does not simply mean introducing new materials, but doing so with a clear purpose and a tangible impact on the final product.
It is this balance between sustainability and performance that underpins the company’s presence at the trade fair. On the one hand, through the integration of more responsible solutions into its offer; on the other, through fabrics that deliver durability and meet the functions defined by the customer.
“Our challenge is not simply to use more sustainable materials, but to integrate them into fabrics that maintain their performance and reliability,” the team concludes.
This approach is reflected throughout LEMAR’s Autumn-Winter 2027/28 collection presented in Paris. Six of the company’s fabrics have also been selected for the Performance & Sustainable Innovation Sourcing Hub, where visitors can see and feel them.
