LEMAR SHARES ITS VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Lemar is kicking off 2025 by reaffirming its presence at important textile trade fairs such as The London Textile Fair, Munich Fabric Start and Nordic Fair, the latter in Stockholm. These events are some of the tools scheduled to present their collections and consolidate the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Lemar’s commitment to meeting its customers’ expectations is evident in its ongoing commitment to more responsible textile solutions. This approach has positioned the company as a benchmark in the market, standing out for its wide range of value-added eco-friendly fabrics.

‘The proposed solutions cover a wide range of sustainable initiatives, from the reuse of marine waste collected from the ocean and post-consumer PET bottles to the use of materials with accelerated decomposition or derived from organic waste. These innovations not only benefit the environment and the economy but also promote values that are essential for building a better future,’ the company tells T Jornal.

Among the main sustainable options are fabrics made from recycled yarns such as Seaqual™, Newlife™, Sensil™ Ecocare, Amni Soul Eco™, BioCare™, ByNature™, EVO™ by Fulgar, Q-Nova™ and Q-Cycle™, he lists. ‘The latter is a fibre resulting from the transformation of tyres using Mass Balance technology, and represents a significant advance in the reuse of existing resources,’ they point out.

Lemar’s sales teams have returned from these first shows with renewed confidence, having received positive feedback from customers. This recognition strengthens the company’s role as a strategic partner in the transition to a more sustainable future in the textile sector.

In February, Lemar will be attending the Milano Unica and Première Vision Paris fairs. Due to their relevance and international dimension, these two fairs are considered benchmarks, offering a more comprehensive platform in terms of the number of professional visitors.

In an increasingly demanding international context, ‘Lemar will continue to adjust its strategy to meet the needs of the markets in which it operates,’ they conclude. This positioning is fundamental to ‘mitigating the challenges faced on a daily basis and guaranteeing the company’s sustainable and competitive growth’.
