The North American market continues to establish itself as a highly relevant stage for LASA, which will be present at Market Week New York from March 23 to 26, showcasing collections that reflect a contemporary approach to home textiles.
“Clean lines, natural colours and high-quality materials define pieces designed to last and adapt to different lifestyles,” said Laura Carvalho, head of development, in statements to T Jornal.
Among the highlights are soft and highly absorbent bath towels, as well as bed linen that explores different textures and finishes, “creating versatile and welcoming environments.”
The company also noted a growing appreciation from brands for consistency and responsibility in production, which it finds encouraging. Still, it acknowledges that the US market is “highly competitive,” where “adaptability and speed of response make all the difference.” Market Week represents an opportunity for LASA to demonstrate these strengths.
Asked about the impact of current global instability, the company confirmed that it has “brought new challenges to supply chain management, affecting costs and predictability.” In this context, even greater flexibility becomes essential. “Integrated production in Portugal allows us to maintain close relationships with clients and ensure an agile response in a constantly changing environment,” it stressed.
LASA clarified that its strategy to safeguard competitiveness is therefore based on consistency, strengthening quality, investing in innovation, and deepening close relationships with partners. “The ability to control the entire production chain in Portugal proves to be a strategic advantage,” it concluded.
