JF Almeida has been exhibiting at ISPO Munich since Sunday until today, highlighting new fabrics for blankets specifically designed for outdoor use. Produced in 100% cotton and blends of other natural fibers, the fabric is, according to the company in statements to T Jornal, a high-quality outdoor solution, offering durability and a reduced environmental footprint.
“Its robust structure, enhanced heat retention, and versatile design make it an excellent choice,” explains Liliana Miranda, from the commercial department. In addition to the blankets, the company is also presenting a selection of flannels developed for outdoor apparel, as well as its quick-drying Drytec Towels.
“This year we placed a strong emphasis on our technical fabrics, developed to respond to the new demands of outdoor, athleisure, and workwear. We also presented our Fieldline brand, dedicated to luxury flannel shirts — a unique value proposition for brands seeking authenticity, refined design, and a fully integrated production process,” says João Almeida, from the company’s management.
Regarding participation in the trade fair, João Almeida stresses that it goes far beyond mere exhibition: it reflects the company’s commitment to bringing Portuguese textile excellence to the most demanding global markets and to offering real solutions for brands looking for quality, differentiation, and reliable industrial capacity.
“We are working on several important developments that strengthen innovation and sustainability. Our strategy is centered on the integration of sustainable fibers with a future-oriented product design,” the company further underlines, highlighting its focus on environmentally responsible production and continuous investment in R&D to create advanced materials.
