The success of the 2023 edition of the iTechStyle Summit with a “frankly positive balance”, served as a launching pad and guarantees the event next year – left in the closing session of the meeting by the general director of CITEVE, António Braz Costa. The numbers are relevant: around 650 participants and an excellent international and national speakers panel.
For António Braz Costa, who represented the event’s organization, “the high level of communications on all panels, with very consolidated and interesting visions of what is the future of ITV worldwide, European and also Portuguese”, as well as “the level satisfaction of participants at the end of the event”, are the most relevant data.
“The iTechStyle Summit is our investment, an event that arises to fulfill CITEVE’s public mission. The balance of this edition is frankly positive, and that is why we can already announce that in 2024 we are back”, announced Braz Costa in the closing session last Friday at the Leixões Cruise Terminal.
The general director of CITEVE also congratulated the high level of involvement of the international community in the 2023 edition of iTechStyle, with CITEVE receiving “three times more applications from potential speakers” than those included in the program.
“The program is created in two ways: on the one hand, experts that we invite and whose contribution we know to be very relevant for the sector, and on the other hand, we also open the game to the scientific community and welcome applications from national and international experts”, he explained.
From the extensive three-day program, Braz Costa highlighted the presentation of the be@t project (the bio-economy agenda) that “aims to go beyond the limits of the sector, acting on the consumer, the community in general, and the entire value chain” of the polluting industries, concludes.
Throughout the many hours of the work sessions, the participant’s attention to the interventions was visible – measurable data through the dozens of photos that the cell phones were taking of the power-points – and the intense networking established in the breaks between each session. For the next year, the continuity of CITEVE’s commitment to hold another edition of the iTechStyle Summit is a necessary and sufficient guarantee for yet another success.
