The 6th edition of iTechStyle Summit is almost here, from 20th to 22nd of May the Cruise Terminal of Leixões will be buzzing with innovation under the theme: ‘Boosting the digital path for a sustainable future’. RDD, Oldtrading, Impetus and TMG Textiles are some of companies on the official programme.

The opening session on May 20th will be led by the Portuguese Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre; Lutz Walter from Textile ETP will also take part. A panel discussion on the Digital Product Passport will follow and the day will end with the announcement of the winners of the iTechStyle Awards.

The second day will start with a focus on ‘New processes for sustainability’, with contributions from Dirk Vantyghem, representing Euratex Confederation, and Ana Tavares from Valérius group. There will also be a presentation on innovative biobased materials and a round table on eco-design and eco-engineering with Francisco Pinheiro from Oldrating as one of the speakers.

The third and final day will be dedicated to exchanging knowledge on digital product creation, with Nuno Sousa from Impetus, for example, on artificial intelligence in the fashion industry panel and, finally, the importance of performance in a product, where Hélder Rosendo, business director at TMG Textiles, will speak.
